This leadership position will be in Iuka, Mississippi. This position is on-site and cannot be performed remotely due to the nature of the role.\n\nThis leader will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and timely production of aircraft. This role involves managing a team of employees, implementing production schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing production processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity. The Manager General Manufacturing 1 works closely with other departments to ensure that aircraft are produced to meet customer demand, delivered on time, and meet the company\u0027s financial goals. They are also responsible for maintaining safe working conditions and complying with relevant regulations and industry standards. Overall, the Manager General Manufacturing 1 plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the manufacturing and delivery process.\n\nSupervisory or management responsibilities for more than one functional area in the Manufacturing and Production job family.\n\nNote: Position will be filling the following shifts \u0026 times primarily but is subject to change as business needs arise\n\n * C Shift (Friday - Sunday, 7:00am-7:30pm)\n\n * D Shift (Friday - Sunday, 7:00pm-07:30am)\n\n\n\n\nEssential Responsibilities:\n\n * Oversee the daily production and manufacturing operations of 15-20 technicians.\n\n * Coordinate and lead operations start up meeting.\n\n * Daily resource planning to meet customer/schedule demand.\n\n * Collaborate with production scheduling to meet schedule requirements.\n\n * Ensure tools, plans, people and material are available to complete assigned workload.\n\n * Report production KPIs to site leadership.\n\n * Perform root cause analysis for corrective actions on safety \u0026 quality incidents.\n\n * Mentor, train, and develop staff including performance management and corrective action.\n\n * Drive continuous improvement in safety, delivery, quality and cost.\n\n\n\n\nThe ideal candidate enjoys being a change agent while driving continuous improvement. Finally, we pioneer: setting a vision that shapes the future and inspires others.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High School Diploma or equivalent GED and 4 years of related production experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, military, manufacturing, and/or related environment.\n\n * Related experience can be defined as but not limited to production/manufacturing experience, production planning, and manufacturing data analysis.\n\n * 1 year of experience leading projects or teams.\n\n * Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active Secret DoD clearance.\n\n * Experience within aerospace manufacturing.\n\n * Leadership experience in a work environment (e.g. Group Lead, Supervisor, etc.).\n\n * Experience supervising teams of 10+ employees.\n\n * Understanding of SQDEC (safety, quality, employee, delivery, and cost) KPIs.\n\n * Familiar with manufacturing processes and material flow.\n\n * Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).\n\n * Experience with composite manufacturing, bonding, drilling.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $81,800.00 - $122,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
