Job Description - Manager, Global Product Business Segment, Natural Materials - Exton, PA

Manager, Global Product Business Segment, Natural Materials Exton, PA (On-site) The Manager, Global Product Business Segment, Natural Materials is responsible for the management of the specified product group and development of short/mid/long-term business plans for the product group offerings and transfers those into the daily business activities including monitoring of success. This includes supply and demand planning (including coordination at the production sites), business analysis, product pricing and monitoring & development of the product launch road map (in close alignment with marketing).  At dsm-firmenich, being a force for good is not optional. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for achieving all financial targets for the product group, including product pricing, forecasting and monitoring of sales performance on a regular basis Work with supply chain and production to monitor inventory and guide production planning to ensure product availability to meet customer requirements Monitor market developments, trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities, new products and capabilities. Develop a process for prioritization and evaluation of custom inquiries. Support development of proposals with technical teams. Responsible for proposal pricing.  Participate in project teams for custom projects to ensure customer requirements are implemented and targets are met on time and on budget.  Responsible for the execution of the strategic business plan, including planning and execution of product launch roadmap Participate in negotiation of supply and quality agreements and review final customer contracts prior to execution. You Bring: BS Degree in a Technical, Sales, Business or Marketing related field.  Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical, sales or marketing function with a strong technical or business background. Extensive knowledge of the medical device industry or other regulated industry preferred. A thorough understanding of financial evaluation techniques (especially cost and profitability analysis) is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to define decision processes, manage groups and execute plans on rigid timetables are essential. Basic knowledge of FDA GMP, ISO and Excipient regulations.
