Wage Range: $103,189 - $165,090 per year

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity. 
 
Job Summary:

Manages the day-to-day operations and profit and loss of more than one clinic facility, including physicians/staff management, patient scheduling, patient flow, medical records, patient accounting, supply ordering and complaint resolution. Position must meet a minimum of three of the following five criteria: Managerial oversight of three or more multispecialty clinics; Two or more separate clinic locations that require travel by vehicle; Operational supervision with greater than 15 Providers and/or grater than 30 direct reports; Facility site management which may include offsite building management; Management of other onsite ancillary services. May have other service lines to include surgical or inpatient services.
 
Primary Duties:  
  1. Achieves budgeted expenses and revenue on a monthly and annual basis for each clinic. On an annual basis, develops revenue and expense projections for multiple departments and capital budgets with EvergreenHealth guidelines for each clinic.
  2. Ensures multiple offices and personnel follow EvergreenHealth polices. Ensures operation is in regulatory compliance with all governing agencies or bodies (OSHA, JC, Medicare, HIPAA etc.). Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and security of patient medical records.
  3. Responsible for ensuring staff are trained in proper PMSI use and newly implemented EMR processes and procedures.
  4. Works in collaboration for the development and promotion of a continuous quality improvement culture. Follows through on projects from design through completion, learning and next steps, in conjunction with the medical director(s), department leadership, staff, and others as appropriate.
  5. Responsible for CQI indicator monitoring, data collection and reporting.
  6. Teams with physicians to ensure multiple clinics are operating at peak efficiency.
  7. Coordinates with primary care and other specialty managers to ensure a seamless referral process and maximize system integrity.
  8. Monitors and when necessary, develops improvement plans to increase patient satisfaction for multiple clinics.
  9. Provides oversight and initiates strategies and goals to ensure an effective and efficient revenue cycle.
  10. Monitors labor productivity reports against the targets using the Premier OA system and is accountable for clinic targets and standard key performance indicators set through the annual organizational budget & performance target settings for multiple clinics.
  11. In coordination with division leadership and EvergreenHealth Strategic Priorities, develops growth strategies for multiple specialties and clinics.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
 
REQUIRED for the position:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or clinical area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4 years of management experience in a health care setting, preferably in a medical clinic.
 
DESIRED for the position:
  • Master’s degree (e.g. MBA, MHA)
  • Experience managing either multi-dimensional clinics or multiple medical clinics
  • Training in Lean or Six Sigma
  • Project and change management experience
