Manager I, Engineering - New Workloads

The New Workloads team’s mission is to drive innovation through novel product development. This team pushes new initiatives through rapid prototyping and nimble product development with strong collaboration across product and design. Some of the workstreams have developed into full product offerings such as GPU Monitoring and Storage Monitoring and there are other initiatives across varying domains. This team is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager that is adept at balancing different workstreams and domains and has a demonstrated record of shipping great products.

What You’ll Do: 

• Provide front line management for multiple product initiatives and move them from prototype to General Availability while keeping your team motivated and engaged


• Foster growth for engineers on your team and develop technical leaders


• Work across product groups to generate valuable product solutions for Datadog customers


• Encourage innovation and shipment and align with Datadog’s business goals
  
  

Who You Are:

• Experienced engineering manager with 3+ years of experience managing teams of 5+ engineers


• Ideally managed other technical leaders


• Familiarity with modern technologies and domains and motivated to expand knowledge


• Runs nimble and rapid teams with a bias towards shipment
