Manager III, Prod Mgmt - Tech, Amazon

DESCRIPTION

This role lies at the intersection of business, technology, finance, statistics, data mining, and Pricing science. To succeed in this role you should be passionate about working with large datasets and be someone who loves to bring data together to answer key business questions. This role leads six technical/business team members (PMT/PM/BIE). Defines strategy vision for selection and pricing. Influences long-term roadmap for global F2 and PFs across NAS. Drives across multiple business and tech teams in WW Pricing, Selling Partner Services, Shopping, F2 Tech, and Selection to execute on vision. Supports 200 VMs in Core SL and partners with Subsidiaries. Partners with engineering and science teams to execute roadmap vision and launch new products and features.

A day in the life

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement strategic roadmap for selection and pricing
* Gather data and perform sophisticated analytical exercises
* Employ data mining, segmentation, and other analytical techniques to capture important trends and create relevant measurement dashboards
* Drive standardization, simplification and automation of internal processes and data products
* Manage weekly and monthly business reporting and create relevant measurement dashboards
* Work with various stakeholders to understand business drivers, goals, and actionable outcomes using analytics
* Manage databases and work with technology teams to develop systems to support business intelligence needs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* 3+ years of team management experience
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
* Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
* Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience managing a team of technical leaders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
