The Opportunity:
Your role at Sephora:

As Internal Audit & Control Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and testing of internal control rules and procedures within Sephora North America (Sephora US & Canada), in full compliance with LVMH policies and procedures. During Internal Audits, you will be responsible for determining the internal audit scope and leading the audits from planning to report issuance and finding closure.
Reporting to the VP, Internal Audit & Control, you will help the organization accomplish its business and financial objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. In addition, the Internal Audit & Control Manager will:
Lead the annual LVMH risk and controls assessment to ensure we meet all required deadlines and obtain a high compliance rate. Evaluate and map Sephora's main risks in North America, to be communicated regularly with Senior Management
Manage the annual Store Audit Program including planning, day to day management and reporting. Use initiative to course correct when compliance issues are noted. Continually work to increase compliance with the relevant business partners
Ensure SOD exists in core systems through walkthroughs, testing and training of business partners
Engage with the business to pro-actively provide advisory and guidance on risks and controls for new projects, programs or initiatives. Be a key point of contact for US controls related queries.
Partner with IT to strengthen IT controls and ensure all key IT projects include a control section
Work closely with the business to build an exhaustive set of procedures covering all main areas of the business (Sales, Inventory, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.).
Ensure all key procedures and policies are maintained and updated according to business needs and/or LVMH guidelines
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings. Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results
Hold the business accountable for the timely resolution of all action plans. Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
Prepare for and assist with LVMH internal audits and/or external audits. Continue to follow up on the implementation of their recommendations post-audit to ensure timely closure of all findings.
Maintain a crisis management process and co-ordinate company actions on Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans. Ensuring main procedures exist and are updated regularly and pro-actively
Undertake special projects, ad-hoc audits, projects reviews or similar on request
Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Professional qualification such as CPA/CA, CIA, CISA or CFE is required.
Professional experience & know how:
5+ years of professional experience in areas of internal and/or external audit, finance, controlling, either in audit/consulting firms or large companies
Preferred background in Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods
Technical & management skills
Strong technical financial skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience in developing and leading both audits and projects
Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulation
Enthusiastic, driven work ethic, with a can-do attitude
Project management, time management and multi-tasking are essential skills

The annual base salary range for this position is $128,500.00 - $144,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
