Manager, Internal Controls (SOX)
Location:

Iselin, NJ area (HYBRID or REMOTE)
TRAVEL - 10-15%
SALARY: To $150K plus bonus

As part of this fast growing and successful company, you will Manage the compliance for Sarbanes Oxley internal controls, including developing and implementing a control framework for existing and newly acquired business units.

Responsibilities

:

Working with corporate and business unit teams, lead and guide

control

owners in the design and testing of controls which may include MRC, IPE and SOD processes
Oversee the annual SOC reporting process
Assist staff in development action plans to remediate control deficiencies.
Coordinate periodic process walk-throughs
Identify internal control and audit issues and perform root cause analysis with practical solutions
Monitor and follow up with control and process owners
Evaluate the business units self-assessed processes to ensure reliability
Independently test and verify the operating effectiveness of key controls
Work with the internal and external audit teams
Assist with the admin of the Riskonnect system, evaluate and enhance ERP controls
Participate in ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
CPA or MBA preferred
5+ years of internal or external audit experience with broad working knowledge of internal controls compliance (SOX)
Shared services experience highly desired
Supervisory skills preferred
Ability to travel 10-15%
