We have an exciting opportunity for a
Manager, International Contracts
to support Programs within Submarines & Sonars Program Area under the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit. In this role you will serve as Contracts Lead for the capture and deployment of large International Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) Fixed-Price Development contracts within the Submarines portfolios, and leading negotiations and implementation.
Additionally, you must be able to readily adapt in a challenging, fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment with minimal oversight. Strong written and verbal communication is essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Front-end assessment of business pursuit, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration & change management
Ensure contract requirements are fulfilled in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
Foster customer relationships and advise the Program stakeholders on Raytheon’s contractual rights & obligations
Identify business and contractual issues in program performance, and proactively develop and implement solutions
Periodic travel to the Asia-Pacific region will be required (approximately 4 times per year)
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Experience negotiating and managing contracts with foreign governments and foreign customers on Direct Commercial Sale and/or Foreign Military Sales Contracts
Experience with developing & fostering relationships with international customers
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and shared databases
Understanding and use of Import and Export controls, compliance, and licensing
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork and trust both internally and externally
Display an advanced understanding of business relationships and contract structures, while demonstrating an exemplary level of business acumen
Ability to recommend solutions and provide governance to the Program Teams in carrying out the terms of the contract

Work Location:
Remote: This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
