Job Summary: 


The Joint Ventures Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the company’s development pipeline growth with joint venture companies. This role ensures efficiency, strategic alignment, and strong cross-functional execution from ideation through delivery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and experienced asset manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate effectively in both strategic and tactical capacities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the company’s joint ventures, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities. 
  • Actively manage the developing pipeline with partners, serving as a key liaison with leadership. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are scoped, prioritized, and launched to develop high-impact projects that create value for the company. 
  • Proactively motivate and work with partners to identify and originate new projects that align with Atlantica’s strategic goals and can be integrated into the company’s development portfolio. 
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve delays, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Properly manage and report on budget, cash flow and credit needs of the joint ventures. 
  • Create and maintain detailed project timelines, dashboards, and reporting tools to track performance and communicate updates. 
  • Standardize and improve operational workflows for scalability, regulatory compliance, and strategic execution. 
  • Support strategic planning by delivering data-driven insights, reports, and presentations to senior leadership. 
  • Serve as a communication bridge between partners and other senior leaders, including the Head of Development and Executive Vice President 
  • Establish KPIs, performance benchmarks, and accountability structures to foster continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure proper documentation, records management, and compliance reporting. 

Requirements

 Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering or a related field. 
  • 3–7 years of experience in asset management or operational leadership roles in the power industry 
  • Strong proficiency in Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel along with project management software (e.g., Smartsheets, Monday.com). 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a remote and dynamic environment. 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in infrastructure, energy, or real estate development projects. 
  • Energy market, finance, tax equity, regulatory and other energy project related understanding. 
  • Familiarity with strategic planning, resource allocation, and pipeline development. 
  • Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders and managing up effectively.
