This leadership role is located in McLean, VA.\n\nThis position will report to the Sr. Manager of Billing and Invoicing supporting Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector and will oversee a team performing the daily operations of customer billings and related analysis supporting DS programs. This position is located in McLean, VA. Position responsibilities and duties include: \n\u2022 Responsibility for managing daily operations of team for invoice preparation, submission, review and approval including related analysis, while ensuring timeliness to maximize cash flows.\n\n\u2022 Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures. \n\u2022 Maintain, establish, and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures\n\n\u2022 Support request for information from DS programs, Compliance, Internal and External Auditors, and other functional organization or regulatory agencies\n\n\u2022 Interface with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to billings.\n\n\u2022 Lead or assist with ad-hoc projects, as needed\n\n\u2022 Provides an open, trusting work environment conducive to employee engagement, and ensuring a high-performance culture.\n\nJob Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\u2022Bachelor\u2019s degree with at least 10 years of relevant work experience; 8 years of relevant work experience with a master\u0027s degree; or 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree\n\n\u2022 Basic understanding of GAAP, CAS and SOX requirements\n\n\u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills \n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Self-motivated, yet functions well in a team environment \n\u2022 Experience in financial services/billing teams \n\u2022 Knowledge of SAP and the SAP Sales and Distribution module\n\n\u2022 Strong project management skills\n\n\u2022 Prior experience in Aerospace and Defense industry\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
