Manager of EHS III

As a key member of our EHS Department, the Regional EHS Manager will work closely with our manufacturing sites on an array of EHS issues to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with federal, state and local regulations. As the liaison between Corporate EHS and our manufacturing locations, your responsibilities will include:


Monitor and co-ordinate plant EHS permitting and legal compliance.
Ensuring facility compliance with the Corporate EHS standards and with regulatory requirements.
Conduct annual EHS audits and provide support and direction for corrective action.
Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance to Corporate, Divisions, and Plants..
Manage and organize network meetings and best practice development and sharing.
Conduct investigations into injuries, incidents, chemical releases, and complaints.
Advise and support plants when contacting external bodies and authorities.
Recommend improvements in processes, design, procedures, and programs to minimize risk
Network with other Regional EHS Managers.


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field or equivalent work experience. C.E.P designation a plus.
5+ years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
Good knowledge of EPA/OSHA regulations
Experience with Title V permitting requirements
Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and Lotus Notes
Proven Project Management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to work independently and with a team


The position will be responsible for multiple locations and will require approximately 50% overnight travel.
