This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Grants and Contracts Manager - REMOTE. This role is vital in ensuring the effective operations and compliance of grants and contracts, thus enabling the organization to fulfill its mission of supporting water solutions. As a Grants and Contracts Manager, you will be a key player in maintaining the integrity of the grantmaking process, promoting transparency, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The impact of your work will spread across various communities and stakeholders, contributing significantly to the successful management of resources dedicated to water issues. You will collaborate with program teams and external partners, enhancing the efficiency of grant oversight processes to further support the core objectives of the organization.
Accountabilities
- Manage outgoing grants from proposal intake to award, amendments, reporting, and closeout.
- Manage contracts from scope of work intake, amendments, invoice tracking, and closeout.
- Work closely with the Program Team to forecast grantmaking and contract investments for all foundation programs.
- Ensure that grant agreements and contracts are executed legally, appropriately, and efficiently.
- Provide administrative and financial oversight by ensuring invoices conform to grant or contract terms.
- Assist with the creation of quarterly dockets.
- Draft grant agreements and contracts.
- Maintain and optimize the grants management system ensuring accurate data entry and workflow.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in grants and contracts management.
- Experience tracking lobbying preferred.
- Experience with GivingData preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter with initiative.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage extensive documentation.
- Ability to balance numerous deadlines and deliver timely work product.
- Flexibility in working style with a range of personality types.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with colleagues and partners.
