Crawford Electric Cooperative is seeking applicants for a Manager of Member Relations. This is an immediate, full-time opening. The Manager of Member Relations plays a key leadership role in directing all marketing, communications and public relations functions for the cooperative. The manager serves as a spokesperson, manages community engagement and crisis communication efforts, and oversees strategic initiatives related to member services and satisfaction.
Qualified applicants will have post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, with at least five years of progressively responsible experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A combination of relevant education, experience, and skills may be considered. Successful applicants will demonstrate exceptional strategic communication skills, leadership ability, and experience managing public relations. Prior work in utility or cooperative environments or a background in high level customer service/member relations is a plus. Must be willing to fulfill on-call responsibilities and work flexible hours on occasion, which may include evenings and weekends.
