Pay Range $76,793.60 to $115,190.40

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Manager of Policy and Procedure is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Policy and Procedure program, supporting the composition of new policies and procedures, management of the review and approval process, and providing education for document composition and operation of SCF’s policy and procedure data base and application. The Manager of Policy and Procedure serves as the primary point of contact for all policy and procedure needs and ensures SCF convention and appropriate style is adhered to in all SCF policies and procedures. 

Qualifications: 

SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services: 

1. Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, English, or related degree; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. 

2. Five (5) years of experience writing proposals, policies, procedures, or other substantial documents.

Native Preference: 

Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training.  SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
