Manager of Structured Finance and Valuation- Denver/San Francisco

I am seeking a Manager of Structured Finance and Valuation, to join a Utility Scale IPP client, with huge backing, a firm that is on an exciting growth trajectory! This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategies and investment decisions of my client's organization.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze investment opportunities, including project finance, tax equity, and debt financing structures.
Conduct valuation analyses to assess the financial feasibility and potential returns of utility scale IPP projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and structure project financing solutions that optimize capital efficiency and mitigate risks.
Lead the preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for internal stakeholders and external investors.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform financial strategies and decision-making.
Manage tax equity modeling processes, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and maximizing tax benefits for projects.
Provide strategic guidance and insights to senior management based on financial analyses and market intelligence.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MSF, CFA) preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, project finance, or a related field within the energy sector, with specific experience in utility scale IPPs preferred.
Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, etc.) and valuation techniques.
Strong understanding of tax equity structures and modeling methodologies.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
