Manager, Pharmacy - Pharmacy - Days - FT - Biloxi Location

Job Summary:

The Operations Pharmacy Manager will be an expert in pharmacy operations and medication-use systems. This Manager will take on advanced responsibilities in the areas of pharmacy operations, technology and automation, medication safety, quality improvement, compliance, technician oversight and training, medication compounding and preparation, and education related to all aspects of pharmacy operations. The Operations Pharmacy Manager will report to the Director of Pharmacy to provide safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered medication use.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree - Graduate of an A.C.P.E. accredited College of Pharmacy
  
  
  
  • Preferred: Doctoral Degree - Pharm D.
  
  


• License or Certification Requirements: License Current licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Mississippi


• Experience: 5 years as a pharmacist with (3) years in a leadership role in an acute care setting


• Skills:  Excellent oral and written communication skills;  Organization and time-management skills are essential
