Manager Quality Engineering 2

Manager will be responsible to ensure that we meet all customer quality requirements, including reviews of Mission Assurance Contract Summaries and ensure that all Quality metrics are measured and monitored and report progress on a monthly basis. Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies. Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience - OR - Master's degree with 6 years of related experience. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance Strong understanding of Quality requirements and tools Active DoD Security Clearance Experience managing people preferred Prior experience with Manufacturing Avionics and/or Cables
