 Manager, Sales Engineering

Job Description  

A Sales Engineering Managerat Strategy plays an integral role in the sales of our world class enterprise platform to deploy unique analytics and mobility applications.The personwillbe responsible formanaging allfacetsof the sales engineering function for the Latin American team. These include leading the most important sales cycles,ensuretechnical plus professional excellence along with recruiting,developmentand training of a team of Sales Engineers.   

 

Job Duties (include but not limited to)  

  • Conduct technical and businesspositioning and demonstrations of the Strategy platform at important customer engagements or events.   

  • Deep understanding of the implementation ofthe entire suite ofStrategy software in rapid deployment and proof of concept scenarios. 

  •  Sales Cycle Leadership:Thepositionis expected to be personally involved in the most important sales cycles in their assigned region to ensure the highestpossibility of success. This may include individualcontribution. 

  • Effectiveness and High-Quality Dedication: The role ensures theteam is up to speed on latest Positioning and DemonstrationContent and Practices. Deliverables to customers are of high qualityfollowing and nurturing best practices.   

  • Sales EngineeringEconomy: Motivate the team to share best practices, analyze latest market trends and active contribute to the SE Economy.   

  • Recruiting, Developing and Managing: The role is expected to recruit anddevelop the highestcaliberSales Engineers. Development includes onboardingof New Hires next to ensuring all Sales Engineers are readyto perform their duties in salescycles. Management includes ensuring all tasks are completed andperformed at the highest level of quality.   

  • Company and SalesEngineering Process Support: The role leads compliance tocompany and Sales Engineering Processes and Systems. Resource Allocation: The role is expected tomonitorSE supported sales cycles andidentifyand solve potential bottlenecks or resource conflicts.   

 

Job Requirements   

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent business or technical education required 3-5 years’ experience in Sales Engineering Experience in leadership and/or management, ideally in international environment  

  • Exceptional oral, presentation and written communication skills Demonstrated creative problem-solving ability   

  • Fluent in Spanish and English  

  • Ability to articulate complex topics to novice or technical audience, and to translate technical advantages into business benefits   

  • Engaged, positive attitude able to prioritize in demanding environment   

  • Experience with Business Analytics and Mobility systems a major plus General knowledge of RDBMS, OLAP, client/server, and web/internet technologies Successful completion of Strategy certification program upon employment   

  • Ability to travel as
