This job is a member of the Sales Planning and Performance Analytics Team within the Sales Operations Division. You will be responsible for leading a team of analysts that are responsible for providing analytical, organizational, and administrative functions to drive strong corporate and indirect channel performance. 


 


Embracing new tools and capabilities, you will join a team of highly driven and motivated team members in enhancing and innovating for the benefit of our corporate accounts and corporate travelers.

What you'll do


  • Partners with all Sales groups to develop strategic actions, building business cases, planning initiatives, and analyzing impact

  • Oversees analyses of performance trends; highlighting potential market and customer issues and strategies to better position American Airlines in the market place

  • Supports Account Managers with data gathering, analytical, and technical needs

  • Collaborates with leaders across the company on commercial and operational projects impacting corporate and agency accounts

  • Develops new tools that empower Account Managers with easy access to information and customer-centric reporting

  • Manages annual budget development and monthly budget reconciliation

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience



  • ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training


 


Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience



  • ​Masters of Business Administration, Analytics, or other relevant field


 


Skills, Licenses & Certifications



  • ​Knowledge of the airline industry with experience in commercial roles

  • Ability to effectively manage and coach direct reports

  • Ability to generate and implement new ideas and approaches to existing business processes

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and meet deadlines in compressed timeframes
