JOB OVERVIEW
The Site Manager for the Feeding Pinellas Empowerment Center is responsible for the daily execution of specifically designed onsite programming at the Feeding Pinellas location. These programs include, but are not limited to, leading a daily restaurant-style meal service, weekly onsite pantry operations, managing onsite volunteers and related activities, and supporting approved external partners, previously vetted to provide a purposeful variety of community resources to neighbors. The Site Manager may occasionally represent FTB within the local community, and as applicable, should foster relationships that benefit the success of the location. Critical of all FTB programs, the Site Manager will cultivate a culture of dignity, respect, and empathy for those we serve, ensuring an environment where all feel cared for, listened to, and supported.
This position requires schedule flexibility, including helping to cover weekends and holidays as needed. This Site Manager will also be responsible for the supervision of a Community Distribution Coordinator..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily Meal Service & Onsite Pantry Management
- Manage the daily execution of the Trinity Café meal service occurring daily on M-F | 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM and the weekly onsite food pantry operations
- Ensure all food safety and compliance requirements are followed for meal service and pantry operations
- Be on-site during the entire meal service and pantry program window
- Support the Culinary team in receiving the daily meal, preparing for meal service, and cleaning up once meal service is complete.
- Assist the Site Coordinator in ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and that all program policies are adhered to
- Ensure the pantry is fully stocked by placing orders and properly managing food flow
- Manage the daily operations of the on-site food pantry, including food deliveries, volunteer shifts, and the execution of the pantry program.
- Collect, store, and report required neighbor data for onsite programs
Volunteer Management
- Work directly with FTB’s Volunteer team to identify and determine volunteer needs at Feeding Pinellas
- Assist in developing and recruiting volunteer positions to meet identified program needs, including relationship management with identified Volunteer Captains
- Work with FTB’s Volunteer team regarding the use of “Hands On Connect,” the volunteer sign-up system. Assist with scheduling shifts, building accounts, and navigating the system
- Maintain a strong grasp on the intricate nuances of the daily volunteer schedule and become well-educated in the policies and procedures related to on-site volunteer opportunities
- Lead the daily Volunteer Orientation, to occurs before each volunteer shift. The orientation should include the elements of the Trinity Café “Circle” as outlined in the Program Manual
- Train and orient new volunteers, and foster opportunities for acquiring new volunteers and enhancing volunteer involvement and retention
- Assist in planning of recognition and appreciation activities for volunteers with FTB’s Volunteer team
Program Administration & Partner Support
- Support all Neighbor Food Programs through site coverage and cross-training on an as-needed basis
- Work with the Neighbor Services team regarding the on-site partner calendar and display related information or flyers as instructed
- Greet all community partners when on-site, ensure they are set up and comfortable in the designated partner space, ensure the daily Post-Event JotForm is submitted by all partners by the end of their shift
- Help to inform guests of available services being provided by Empowerment Partners
- Collect and report all necessary program data daily and work with the Neighbor Impact Manager regarding monthly data assessment and dashboard submissions
- Maintain an inventory of all program supplies needed on-site and assist in ordering
- Report all facility maintenance needs to FTB’s Facilities team and adhere to best practices for satellite site maintenance
- Work with the supervisor in managing onsite costs and reporting, and reconciling all expenses on Concur as instructed

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s Degree and/or 2+years’ experience in non-profit, human services, public administration, or social science-related field
- Ability to connect to and empathetically interact with food-insecure, unhoused, or other populations of vulnerable neighbors
- Highly motivated and energetic, with an outgoing personality who connects well with neighbors, volunteers, and external partners
- Excellent critical thinking, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to follow instructions, understand and organize detailed information, and successfully execute daily program needs
- Comfortable and experienced in utilizing G-suite and Microsoft Office
- Must agree to work an adjusted schedule to provide rotating weekend coverage as determined by the Supervisor and assist in covering select holidays. Flex holidays will be provided
- Reliable personal transportation and possession of a valid driver’s license are required
- Have a clean driving record
- Up to 30% travel required within the 10-county coverage area.
