The Associate Manager of Event Technology is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of event production, digital platforms, and data management. You will be responsible for the selection, implementation, and management of the tech stack that powers our internal and external events—ranging from registration platforms and mobile apps to virtual streaming services and lead retrieval.
We are looking for a tech-savvy problem solver who can translate complex technical requirements into seamless experiences for attendees and stakeholders alike.
Tech Stack Management & Integration
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of event platforms (e.g., Swoogo, Splash, or RainFocus).
Configure registration workflows, session catalogs, and speaker portals.
Ensure seamless data integration between event platforms and internal systems like Salesforce, Salesloft, Sessionboard, and Swoogo.
Virtual & Hybrid Production
Coordinate with AV vendors to ensure high-quality streaming and troubleshooting for hybrid environments.
Manage "live day" technical support, ensuring low-latency streams and active engagement tools.
Data & Analytics
Build and maintain event dashboards to track KPIs like registration pacing, attendee engagement, and ROI.
Audit data for accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
Provide post-event reporting and actionable insights to leadership.
On-Site Execution
Lead the deployment of on-site technologies, including badge printing, lead retrieval, and networking apps.
Manage on-site technical vendors and temporary staff.
Act as the primary point of contact for any hardware or software troubleshooting during live events.
3–5 years in event technology, marketing operations, or technical event production.
Certified or highly proficient in at least one major event management software (EMS).
Understanding of API integrations and Zapier workflows.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, excellent project management skills, and a "customer-first" mindset.
Experience with video editing or basic graphic design.
Knowledge of emerging event tech trends (AI-driven matchmaking, AR/VR, or RFID tracking).
Professional certification such as DES (Digital Event Strategist) or CMP.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for landing page customization.
Belonging isn’t a perk here. It’s the baseline. We work across time zones and backgrounds, knowing the best ideas come from different perspectives. And we make space for everyone to lead, grow, and challenge what’s possible.
