This leadership role is in Clearfield, UT. The position will support our 4/10 B shift with a standard work schedule of Monday - Thursday from 4:00pm - 2:00am, but may shift based on business needs.\n\nThe Goods Movement manager oversees the coordination of schedules for the production floor as well as ensuring the flow of parts, materials, and assemblies between departments is done in a timely manner. They will make certain that the manufacturing process operates efficiently and reliably with assistance from the expediting group. Part of their responsibilities includes the estimation and agreement of timescales with the clients and the other managers. You will support driving supplier delivery performance, set execution targets, and track performance in support of achieving program financial goals. A successful candidate will be ready to lead multi-disciplined teams in a variety of complex tasks while also developing process improvements and creating the tools necessary for exceptional performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage team to company goals with KPI\u0027s.\n\n * Oversees the day-to-day workflow of production staff.\n\n * Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.\n\n * Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.\n\n * Maintain acceptable inventory accuracy levels through process controls on manufacturing floor.\n\n * Develop trend analysis tools examining WIP and inventory which effectively signal abnormality within the process and provide guidance to correction.\n\n * Monitor each programs plan and actuals to ensure optimal line balancing, WIP control, and elimination of over production.\n\n\n\n\nWe offer flexible work arrangements, 4/10 work schedule with every Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Finally, We pioneer: setting a vision that shapes the future and inspires others. \n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management, production, manufacturing or operations OR a Master\u2019s Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management, production, manufacturing or operations OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management, production, manufacturing or operations\n\n * Must have a minimum of 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects\n\n * Experience with MRP or ERP systems\n\n * At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * SAP ERP experience\n\n * Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry\n\n * Scheduling experience (Microsoft Project, Open Plan)\n\n * Experience managing Aerospace production control and/or warehousing\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
