Manager-Facilities Rankin County

Job Summary 
Assists in the directing, maintaining and coordination of department's activities. Serves as the coordinator of all construction and renovation. Directs/oversees functions of maintenance staff daily activities to help  ensure a safe, efficient environment for patients, employees and visitors. 

Job Responsibilities 
•    Assists in directing department activities to ensure efficient and quality utilization of department  
and personnel. Approves requisitions for equipment and supplies to provide sufficient inventory  
for functioning of assigned areas of the department. Maintains cost and time records and pertinent documents for budget purposes. 20% 
•    Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning. Trains and instructs employees as to functioning 
of department to insure proper utilization of manpower. Performs other duties as assigned.  Exhibits a positive, cheerful attitude toward customers. Anticipates and/or responds to customer  needs. 20% 
•    Uses proper telephone procedures in a courteous manner. Takes ownership of problem  
resolution. Models being a team player. Adheres to established policies and procedures, including 
but not limited to dress code at all times. Is prompt and reliable. Ensures noise levels in public and patient areas are as low as possible. Consistently leads by examples. Supports organization and  department as ambassador and face of team. 20% 
•    Consistently leads by example. Inter-disciplinary involvement in problem solving. Informs  
supervisor of activity status and inability to meet expectations. Readily provides leadership with  
new information and suggestions as necessary. 20% 
•    Ensures proper use of assigned equipment. Provides proper notification and escalation of  
problems. Ensures supplies are used properly. Exhibits ability to prioritize activities. Reports to  work at designated time. Completes activities within assigned time frames. 10% 
•    Attends required staff meetings and in-services. Shares information with others when requested.  
Seeks clarification and additional knowledge. Identifies self-learning needs. Assists in the  orientation of others when requested. 10% 

Experience 
 Minimum Required - 1 year production/construction  general management or similar  experience                                                                                                                                  Preferred/Desired  5 years production / construction general or related experience

Education 
Minimum Required   High School diploma                                                                                                                                                                                                             Preferred/Desired  Associate's degree
