Manager-Habilitation Services

Description

SUMMARY: Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Site based Day Hab activity center, non-site Day Habilitation Programs, At-Home Community Habilitation in Madison County.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversees, evaluates, and directs Site Based Day Hab, At Home Day Hab, Community Hab, HCBS Waiver Hourly Respite, County Recreation, and Camp ARCO, Family Support Services contracts. 
• Provides information and referrals to all families in the programs.
• Coordinates the intake process and matching of families to programs and staff. 
• Monitors, evaluates, and modifies the Operational Program Procedure Manuals for all programs. 
• Oversees, evaluates, and directs Community Habilitation Coordinator, Day Habilitation Coordinator, and direct care staff, providing staff training as needed.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree with one year working with the MR/DD population; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. NYS Driver’s License with 12 months driving history.
