Managers Associate Brooklyn

We are looking for a Managers Associate to work with our Manager that is passionate about coffee and customer service to assist our Manager to run the store.  You will report to the Manager.  Our ideal is someone who has managed a store before, has excellent speciality coffee skills and their DOH card.  Your schedule is Sunday through Thursday with a mix of mids, opening and closing shifts.   Hours of operation are 7am - 6:30pm. You will be required to be flexible to cover vacation and call outs from time to time.  This role has scope for growth and is the training ground for our Manager roles.  This role is on bar.

Responsibilities include:

*  Oversee customer service and coffee quality

*  Maintenance / IT coordination

*  Coordination of HR deliverables

*  Orders and inventory management

*  Assist the Manager at their direction

*  Acting Manager when Manager is on vacation or out of the store 

You need great project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to juggle multiple issues at once.  A good working knowledge of Square and Door Dash would be a benefit.  This store has a kitchen so previous baking and food experience would be a benefit including Spanish.  

Sick Pay, Vacation and access to benefits are certain milestones.

You need the ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours, lift up to 30lbs and be able to climb stairs and ladders, you will need the ability to hear audible cues and taste coffee, you will be engaged in repetitive physical movements of the hands and wrists throughout the day.
