About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Counsel, Security, and Privacy to join its Ethics & Compliance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global privacy and security regulations, including the alignment and management of the company's privacy and security policies. This role involves providing legal guidance, managing a privacy team, and partnering with various departments to assess and mitigate data, privacy, and security risks. The ideal candidate should have a J.D. degree, a minimum of 15 years of privacy experience, and at least 5 years of cybersecurity experience, with a proven track record of advancing large projects. Strong communication skills, strategic problem-solving abilities, and a business-friendly, collaborative approach are essential.Applicants for the Managing Counsel, Security, and Privacy position at the company should have a J.D. degree, be a member of at least one state bar, and possess a deep understanding of both domestic and international privacy and security requirements. Experience with information security standards, frameworks, risk assessments, and certification processes is required, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The role demands a meticulous, strategic thinker with excellent legal and business judgment, and a proven ability to influence and shape data security and incident management. Preferred qualifications include privacy or security certifications, experience with a knowledge base, and familiarity with the software development, tech, security, privacy, or IP industry. The candidate should also be comfortable working remotely and demonstrate an inherent respect for diverse cultures.
