About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Instructional Excellence to lead a team of up to eight directors in driving transformative change and academic growth within its schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the statewide academic strategy in classrooms, developing plans for rigorous curricular products, and monitoring research-based instructional strategies across multiple campuses. This role requires a deep understanding of curricular frameworks, pedagogy, and instructional materials in math and literacy, with a focus on supporting schools with significant instructional transformation. The Managing Director will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in teaching and learning, ultimately aiming for exceptional student outcomes.Candidates for this position must demonstrate a deep belief in the capacity of all students to achieve at high levels, strong instructional expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of leaders and teachers. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a relevant Master's degree in Education preferred, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a successful School Leader/Principal, or School Leader Manager. Preference will be given to those with experience in leading organizational turnaround work and implementing specific high-quality instructional materials. The role demands exceptional coaching skills, strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and leadership judgment, all underpinned by a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
