About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Online Education to play a pivotal role in the strategic development and implementation of online and digital education initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, providing day-to-day direction, and ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality online and hybrid programs. This includes partnering with academic leaders to develop programs that align with the institution's strategic goals, are compliant with governance and accreditation requirements, and meet the needs of a diverse student population, including adult learners. The role also involves managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing operational processes, and promoting the use of technology for teaching and learning.Applicants must have a master's degree with a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, including at least 5 years' in the development, management, and operations of online post-secondary education programs for adult learners. A proven track record in all aspects of online program management, from design to student support, is essential. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization, and experience in supervising complex work teams. A background in higher education, particularly in online and hybrid teaching, or experience in digital education projects with a focus on faculty engagement, is required. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills, as well as the ability to solve complex problems in collaboration with stakeholders.
