Job Summary:

Job Overview: As the Managing Director of Specialty Finance with an emphasis in Small Business Administration (SBA) lending, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Servbank SBA lending operations. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence within the SBA lending division. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SBA lending, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in managing complex financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy Development:

· Provide strategic leadership and direction for the SBA lending division, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.

· Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence, increase loan origination volume, and maximize profitability.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Operational Management:

· Oversee all aspects of SBA lending operations, including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and portfolio management.

· Ensure compliance with SBA regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.

· Implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Team Development:

· Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of SBA lending professionals.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

· Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their professional development goals.

Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, referral sources, regulators, and industry partners.

· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract borrowers and drive loan origination.

Financial Performance:

· Develop and monitor financial performance metrics to track the division's performance against targets and objectives.

· Identify opportunities to optimize revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall financial results.

· Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and board of directors on the division's financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, JD) preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in SBA lending, with a strong understanding of SBA regulations, policies, and procedures.

· Proven track record of success in managing SBA lending operations, driving growth, and achieving financial targets.

· Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence.

· Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

· Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
