Job Description - Managing Partner

Job Title: Partner – Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Power & Utilities, Net-Zero Transition

Location: Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington D.C. (other locations may also be considered)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Consulting Partner to join our team, focusing on either the Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals sector or the Energy, Power & Utilities, Net-Zero Transition, etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 10 years in consulting with leading advisory firms and possess a well-developed book of business. As a Partner, you will play a key role in driving commercial activities, expanding our client base, and delivering high-impact solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals or Energy, Power & Utilities sectors.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations to address their most critical business challenges.
Business Development:
Leverage your existing network and book of business to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Drive growth initiatives and contribute to the expansion of our firm's client portfolio in the targeted sector.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute business development strategies, proposals, and presentations.

Thought Leadership and Market Positioning:
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics impacting the Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals or Energy, Power & Utilities sectors.
Develop thought leadership content, including whitepapers, articles, and presentations, to enhance our market presence and reputation.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and forums to showcase our expertise and build brand recognition.

Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that drive client success.
Contribute to the development and refinement of consulting methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience with leading advisory firms, focusing on Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals or Energy, Power & Utilities (Net-Zero Transition), other industry experience will also be taken into consideration.
A well-developed book of business with established relationships in the targeted sector.
Proven track record of delivering high-impact consulting solutions and driving business growth.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
Advanced degree in business, engineering, science, or a related field is preferred.
