Job Title: Managing Partner / Owner Operator
Location: On-site | Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $60-70,000 base to start + salary increase as EFT increases
Bonus: Bonuses for new members/net new members
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Managing Partner / Owner Operator to lead the operations of a high-performance gym located in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned fitness industry professional to take ownership of day-to-day operations, drive growth through strategic leadership, and cultivate a results-driven, community-centered environment.
As the on-site leader, you will be the face of the gym ensuring excellence in customer experience, operational efficiency, and team performance. This role is ideal for individuals who are deeply embedded in the fitness lifestyle and bring proven success in gym management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily gym operations with a hands-on leadership approach
- Lead and mentor staff to foster a high-performing, motivated team
- Ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service and member satisfaction
- Maintain top-tier standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment upkeep
- Execute local marketing and community outreach strategies to drive membership growth
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures
- Track performance metrics and continuously improve operational outcomes
- Represent and uphold the values, standards, and reputation of the gym brand
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in high-performance, big-box gym management
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and scheduling
- High level of accountability and operational discipline
- Customer service excellence and a member-first mindset
- Knowledge of gym marketing techniques and membership growth strategies
- Proficiency in financial oversight, including budgeting and reporting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain and manage gym equipment and facility standards
- A passion for fitness, performance training, and a commitment to the gym lifestyle
Onboarding Experience
- 1 week off-site training with experienced Owner Operators to immerse yourself in the gym culture and operational model
- Up to 8 weeks of on-site support in Phoenix with established Owner Operators to ensure a smooth and successful launch
$60,000 - $70,000 a year
Compensation: $60-70,000 base to start + salary increase as EFT increases
