M&E - Building Maintenance Tech

Position Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Department: M&E 

Schedule: Crew TBD

Pay Range: $25.75-29.61/hr. 

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe repair and troubleshooting of malfunctioning lighting and HVAC systems, the preservation of the facility (e.g. painting, industrial tile repairs, and plumbing repairs), performing mechanical, preventive and predictive maintenance, and maintaining 5S standards.        

All other duties as assigned.  

Eligibility Requirements:  

Time in Position:

  Employees at a TM II level role must stay in the role for a minimum of 6 months.  

  
  

• 
  

  Employees at a TM III level role must stay in the role for a minimum of 1 year.  

  
  

• 
  

  Employees must stay in department for 1 year  

  
  

• 
  

  If an employee is within 45 days of completing 1 year in a role or in a department, they will be considered eligible to apply for a new role.  

  
  

Performance:  

• 
  

  Employees cannot have any active formal disciplines for performance within the last 90 days  

  
  

• 
  

  Employees cannot have any active written disciplines for attendance within the last 90 days  

  
  

• 
  

  Employees cannot have any active Last and Final disciplines for performance or attendance within the past 6 months.  

  
  

Physical Requirements:

  Pallet – Mid Chest Lift: 30 lbs.

  Stair Climb: Yes, hourly
