Manhole Rehab Technician

The role of the Manhole Technician is to assist the crew with various positions, safety, inspection, cleaning/preparation, repairs, and rehabilitation of structures. We are willing to train the right candidate! TRAVEL IS REQUIRED.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up traffic control, safety equipment, and installation equipment at the job site.
  


• Troubleshoot problems.
  


• Communicate with your management team on progress and issues that arise.


• Load materials and equipment into vehicles for transportation to and from the job site.
  


• Enter below ground utility structures.


• Ensure the site is left clean before the crew leaves.


• Clean vehicles, equipment and keep the site/support trailer organized and clean.


• Perform other related duties as required.
  

Skills and Specifications:

• Shotcrete/Gunite experience is a plus.


• Concrete finishing.


• Capable of following instructions and learning via On-Job training.


• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.
  

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
  


• Valid driver's license required!


• Experience working in a physical labor position and/or outdoor construction preferred. Must be able to work in the various weather conditions. 


• Ability to work overtime and out of town.


• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.


• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift at least 50 lbs.


• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: this is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Saturday and could include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand. Hotel, flight and per diem will be paid for by the Company. 

$60/day per diem when traveling. Flights and hotels (single occupancy rooms) are paid for by the company.
