Job Description - Manual Machinist




We are hiring an experienced manual machinist for a client in Port Arthur.  As our machinist you will be operating a variety of equipment including lathes, drill presses, and milling machines. Experience manufacturing and strong knowledge of leak sealing clamps and enclosures is a plus.



We are looking for someone with 2 or more years of experience that is eager to improve on their already acquired skills.  This is a temp-to-perm position with a very stable and well-established company.  This is a Monday - Friday position 7:00-3:30 with some overtime.  Pay will be $24-$30 DOE.









Requirements



To be considered for this job you must meet the following requirements:



  • 2 or more years experience as a manual machinist.

  • Experience manufacturing and strong knowledge of leak sealing clamps and enclosures.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Ability to pass all pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical. 

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
