Manual Machinist (1st Shift)

Parallel Employment is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist/Fabricator to join our manufacturing client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of machining and fabrication tasks, working with metal to create precise components and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Conduct quality inspections of machined parts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Fabricate metal components through cutting, drilling, and welding processes
• Maintain and repair machining tools and equipment as needed
• Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols in the workplace

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a manual machinist or fabricator
• Proficiency in operating manual machining equipment (lathes, mills)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
