Manual Machinist - 1st Shift, 5:00am - 3:30pm

This role requires a full-time presence at our Conway, AR facility. Relocation assistance is available.

Shift: 5AM -3:30 PM Monday through Thursday  4 - 10's.  30 Minute lunch.

Set up and operate a variety of machine shop manual equipment.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

• Operate machine shop equipment such as lathe, mill, drill press, and grinders.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance weekly and monthly.

• Manufacture of precision parts.

• Use hand tools and power tools.

• Use and read precision measuring instruments.

• Read mechanical drawings and blueprints.

• Inspection and quality control of manufactured parts.

• Must be able to work proficiently with minimal supervision.

• Other duties as assigned by management.  

• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

• Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.

• Compliance with all Company policies including all safety policies and procedures is required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous Machinist experience running manual machines such as late, mill, drill press, grinders, etc.

• Job requires standing over 75% of the time on a daily basis.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds with full range of motion.

• Ability to work from Standing, Kneeling and stooping positions.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  Continuous, high to moderate levels of noise; require hearing protection to be worn at times. Exposure to chemicals, inks, and coatings require the appropriate PPE to be worn when handling.
