Our Manufacturer's Representatives, part of ORE’s Sales Team, are responsible for end-to-end sales, including supporting creative business development, pipeline management of an existing book of business, and working client projects to provide ORE solutions to clients’ unmet needs.
The Manufacturer's Representative develops relationships with our top-tier client base while helping to promote ORE based on providing consistent and exceptional customer support. In this role you will be traveling as needed (~25%) to an assigned territory to present ORE products and solutions to architects, landscape architects, general contractors, installers and others to build value in the ORE products offering solutions and driving sales.
The Manufacturer's Representative will work with all clients (internal customers and external) through the process until the deal is won. After booking our clients’ projects, this position will work closely with an ORE project manager to hand off while maintaining awareness of the clients’ products throughout the design & fabrication process.
Qualifications & Skills
Must have 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience in roles similar to commercial construction working with architects, landscape architects, general contractors, and installers.
Demonstrated negotiation skills with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
Must have command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and familiarity with Adobe. Preference given to those with CRM/ERP experience such as NetSuite.
Must be a Team player. ORE is very much a team environment, and this person must be able to thrive in a cross functional team organization and add value. Demonstrated experience performing in a cross-functional weak-matrix is a must.
You will thrive if you are able to have technical conversations and communicate complex solutions to the customer requiring you to possess exceptional communication skills, a curiosity that drives continuous learning, and the ability to apply that solution-focused knowledge to a project management framework as it relates to Architects, Landscape Architects, General Contractors, and Installers. Must have the ability and/or demonstrated experience managing existing and long-standing client relationships to develop and build our existing base, prospect for new clients, and build business based on ORE’s past performance and reputation of providing helpful solutions to the industry’s Landscape Architectural challenges.
Ability to understand architectural plans and spec’s and be able to follow up with architects, designers, general contractors, and landscape installers to define scope, offer solutions, and think strategically with closing the deal in mind.

Pay & Schedule
$45,000 – $55,000 annual base pay + uncapped commission.
Travel Requirement: Up to 25%.
Full-Time Position: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Hours may vary slightly depending on business needs and demands.
