This position will be located in Palmdale, CA where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman\u0027s Manufacturing Engineering / Tooling organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.\n\nManufacturing Analyst job duties involve the following: structuring and maintaining bill of material, develop and maintain work instructions (including 3D visual work instructions) that meet manufacturing processes and procedures that are in compliance with customer requirements, implement detailed sequence of operations and specify procedures needed for product builds, investigate and initiate corrective actions and improvements relating to work instructions and identify improvement opportunities through sequence optimization with Manufacturing Engineering concurrence. Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization and liaison. We seek Manufacturing Analysts that use a unique skill set that includes a hands-on approach and act as the production focal point for management of bill of material and production planning within the Aerospace sector.\n\nDuties include, but are not limited to:\n\n * Oversees and manages all phases of projects and serves as a liaison between NGC stakeholders and suppliers.\n\n * Reviews status of projects and manages schedules\n\n * Prepare, provide, maintain, and present project status\n\n * Create presentations\n\n\n\n\nCore Competencies\n\n * Manufacturing Methods - Knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems). Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools or assemblies. Verifiable performance record that includes the various aspects of assembly line operation\n\n * Project Management - Successful project management and leadership experience. Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external. \n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelors with 1 years of experience OR Associates with 3 years of experience.\n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n * Ability to work any shift\n\n * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)\n\n * Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator\n\n * Must be able to support 10% overtime as required for business needs.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience in a manufacturing environment\n\n * Experience in an engineering environment\n\n * Experience with MS Project\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
