Manufacturing and Operations Floater

We are looking for a Manufacturing and Operations Floater to join our team! As a Manufacturing and Operations Floater, you will be an essential asset, providing manual support to various departments during peak production periods to maintain smooth operations and achieve outstanding results.

As a Manufacturing and Operations Floater, you will be a versatile team member ready work in a variety of areas when needed. Your primary responsibility will be to support different areas of the organization during times of increased demand or staffing shortages. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include

· Work with management on weekly/daily assignments.

· Build working knowledge across departments.

· May include:

  - Assist with unloading trucks on site and at delivery dock.

  - Pull and load orders for deliveries and pick-ups.

  - Work on the assembly and production lines at Star Custom Millwork and Door Mill.

  - Restock warehouse inventory to appropriate locations.

  - Building maintenance at the various locations.

  - Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery. 

· Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment.

· Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Ability to prioritized tasks based on specific timelines.

· Legal right to work in the United States.

· 18 Years and older with high school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
