  • Wiring & Cabling: Perform point-to-point wire routing, crimping, soldering, and terminating of electrical cables and wire harnesses according to specifications.

  • Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation: Accurately read and follow engineering drawings, mechanical CAD prints, electrical schematics, and wire routing diagrams.

  • Process Adherence & Redlining: Follow established assembly guides and SOPs. Identify build discrepancies or process issues and report redlines to engineering for updates.

  • Quality Inspection & First-Article Support: Perform visual inspections and use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters) to verify that first-article builds and regular production runs meet strict mechanical and electrical tolerances.

  • BOM Verification & Inventory: Verify part numbers and quantities against the Bill of Materials (BOM) prior to assembly; log and escalate any missing parts or discrepancies.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with manufacturing and design engineers to troubleshoot build issues and provide feedback on assembly ease and cycle times.
