Manufacturing Cost Engineer for a global leader in mobility products and services. Position can be based in either Memphis, TN or Atlanta, GA This role is responsible to develop product cost control measures in SAP. To be considered - must have Four year degree with at least three (3) years cost engineering experience within a manufacturing organization.

Required Qualifications:

Four (4) year degree (Engineering degree is a plus)

Must have at least three (3) years cost engineering experience

Understanding of bill of materials of engineered products

Experience of standard product costing within manufacturing organization

Proficient with SAP

responsibilities:

Work with product engineering, manufacturing and supply chain develop product cost control measures in SAP

Regularly run product cost simulations to monitor the achievement of cost targets

Formulate price adjustment recommendations to ensure actual margins are aligned with planned margins.

Analyze bill of materials, routings and cost data in the ERP system

Identify and track cost reduction opportunities
