It\u2019s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential\u2014and where you can help us reach ours. \n \nIn this function you will: \n\u2022 Leads cost-out events and promotes a culture of continuous improvement \n\u2022 Applies Lean-Manufacturing and 6-Sigma Techniques to eliminate waste, reduce process variation and to deliver products that meet customer expectations \n\u2022 Participates in concurrent engineering efforts and critical design reviews to minimize product development costs and maximize useful life of products \n\u2022 Conducts Design for Manufacturing and value engineering initiatives as applicable \n\u2022 Develops work breakdown structures as a tool to develop cost estimates and to identify opportunities for cost reduction \n\u2022 Participates in new product development projects using program management tools to articulate deliverables and maintain schedules \n\u2022 Develops and integrates new processes and methodologies as to provide competitive advantages for the business \n\u2022 Composes Capital Appropriation Requests (including payback and net present value analysis) for acquisition of equipment to support emerging and existing technologies \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualification: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. \n\u2022 This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
