This role supports a rapidly growing product line and contributes to new product development, manufacturing line support and advanced problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.\n\nThis position plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality and driving innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.\n\nWork model, sponsorship, relocation:\n\nAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n\u25cf Provide engineering support to manufacturing to ensure efficient operations, optimized processes and achievement of production goals.\n\n\u25cf Monitor equipment, machines and tooling performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to nonconforming product, low yield or quality concerns.\n\n\u25cf Interface with quality and research and development teams to integrate new products and processes into manufacturing.\n\n\u25cf Initiate and execute technical activities to develop new or improved products and processes aligned with strategic objectives.\n\n\u25cf Prepare technical reports and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.\n\n\u25cf Design fixtures, select tooling and develop programs or processes to improve existing production and support new product development.\n\n\u25cf Apply engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to address a range of manufacturing challenges.\n\n\u25cf Incorporate business policies and procedures into project execution and demonstrate understanding of customer and business needs.\n\n\u25cf Identify and apply emerging technologies and trends to improve manufacturing capabilities.\n\n\u25cf Build and leverage internal and external networks to accomplish objectives.\n\n\u25cf Support the selection, onboarding and training of machinists and technicians.\n\n\u25cf Lead or contribute to project teams, including setting goals and driving execution.\n\n\u25cf Collaborate cross-functionally and serve as a technical consultant on engineering matters.\n\n\u25cf Represent the business unit by communicating current and future manufacturing capabilities to stakeholders and customers.\n\nQualifications:\n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n\u25cf Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering.\n\n\u25cf Minimum of 2 years\u0027 experience in manufacturing engineering.\n\n\u25cf Experience solving technical and engineering problems.\n\n\u25cf Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.\n\n\u25cf Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.\n\n\u25cf Strong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n\u25cf Experience in a machining environment with wire EDM, CNC milling or Swiss lathe equipment.\n\n\u25cf Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in process improvement and design for manufacturability.\n\n\u25cf Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated manufacturing environments.\n\n\u25cf Demonstrated project management experience leading technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n\u25cf Experience with 3D CAD software.\n\n\u25cf Experience with CAM software.\n\nRequisition ID: 626187\n\nMinimum Salary: $ 71500\n\nMaximum Salary: $ 135800\n\nThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\u2014will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
