Role Responsibilities:\n\n * Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies \n\n * Work with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products \n\n * Use basic engineering and design for excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing and/or product costs, and to improve product quality \n\n * Determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements \n\n * Develop and use test procedures, evaluate test results, and evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies \n\n * Determine root causes and corrective actions for issues that arise during assembly or system testing; perform Process Failure Mode \u0026 Effects Analysis; and provide reports as needed \n\n\n\n\n \nMinimum Qualifications: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree\n\n * 2-4 years of related experience\n\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Strong conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving on the job \n\n * Solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly explain complex information to others \n\n\n\n\n \nPhysical Requirements: \nThis position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
