In this function you will: Investigate and resolve quality issues in a production environment Create operating instructions and documentation for new and existing components Set-up and order new and/or specialized tooling (i.e. ESD, torque tools calibration, etc) Create and Implement Engineering Change Requests Support NPI process via prototyping new products Update Standard Operating Procedures as needed Promotes and maintains 5S standards throughout the area All duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Company and employee objectives and/or goals High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent Minimum 2 years of related experience Ability to read and interpret schematics Ability to distinguish colored wiring Ability to lift, stand, walk, and bend frequently Experience with AutoCAD Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Ability to read and interpret schematics Ability to distinguish colored wiring Ability to lift, stand, walk, and bend frequently Specialized knowledge of Lean manufacturing Excellent communication skills
