Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our production systems

Essential Functions

• Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance

• Maintain and support both existing and newly implemented systems

• Develop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures

• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities

• Collaborate closely with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement effective solutions

• Deliver training to personnel on systems, processes, and best practices

• Troubleshoot if necessary, processes and/or systems

• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.

• Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Additional Duties

• This person has the authority and responsibility to report product or procedural non-conformances as they are recognized.  This person is a key contributor to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.

• This person will ensure that all production systems meet safety requirements

• Assist other areas as requested.

Education/Skill/Experience

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Some college in related field is preferred

• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and production teams

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

• Programming experience is not required; however, familiarity with Python is a plus
