  • Implement strategies to reduce non-value-added time and improve labor efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Provide weekly reporting on labor utilization, project progress, and resource constraints.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive improvements in build processes, documentation, and workflow to enhance throughput and reduce rework.
  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and standard work.
  • Collaborate with Production Support Engineering to refine build instructions, BOM accuracy, and manufacturability.

Operational Coordination

  • Ensure the production floor is organized, safe, and compliant with company and industry standards.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to manage material availability and minimize production delays.
  • Participate in production planning meetings and contribute to schedule development.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, or complex electromechanical systems.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing production teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, labor planning, and resource allocation.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, build documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing company environment.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • A motivated, skilled, and cross-trained production team.
  • Predictable, well-managed labor hours across all projects.
