Job Description - Manufacturing Lead Second Shift

Second Shift hours 3:00-12:00am Monday-Friday

Overall Responsibility is to ensure windows are produced by the team within quality and efficiency goals. A high level of responsibility is expected of team leaders, because the safety and productivity of their team reflects on their ability to lead! Every lead works with their team to ensure production goals and efficiency goals are met daily!

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 12-18 months actively leading a team of 10-15 or more individuals as well as 1 year or more actively working in a manufacturing position.

Our Leads will have demonstrated skills in the following:

Following and maintaining all required work instructions for accuracy. This includes all products in production.

Provide training of all required work instructions

Keeping track of worker scheduling and attendance, conducting performance reviews.

Reducing the amount of overtime by organizing work load efficiently

Setting high standards to reach efficiency goals, ensuring that quality is not compromised

Maintaining the security and cleanliness of the facility

Providing positive and negative feedback to team members

Instructing the team on the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures, as well as monitoring activities of workers during their work day

Coaching and helping to develop team members; resolving dysfunctional behavior

Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing with:other leads,management and Customer Service

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
