Job Purpose

Maximize manufacturing OEE & line capacities through cycle time & downtime reduction with a focus on FOG / FSI activity on mechanical & electrical projects.

Key Accountabilities

Maximize production output through cycle time and downtime reduction:Troubleshoot & Analyze equipment to resolve issues in a timely manner.Develop & implement countermeasures to eliminate reoccurring long downtime situations.Work to determine root cause analysis.Analyze equipment data to identify areas for improvement in equipment

use trend data to proactively address issues before they are major problems.Lead long downtime situations with troubleshooting electrical & mechanical issues to minimize downtime.Prepare reports for long downtime situations & month end OEE reporting.Support projects and identify new technologies for improvement:Identify new technologies/equipment/processes that can drive continuous improvement

test the concept.Support projects or participate as team member so that intended/required project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

BS in Electrical EngineeringNo experience required. Entry level engineering position. Prior co-op experience preferred.Electrical design, PLC Programming, Fanuc Robot Programming, CNC Programming, Microsoft Office, knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems

Workstyle

Overtime as required for equipment repair or projectsTravel to vendors for Equipment Evaluation/RunoffAbility to lift 25lbs due to equipment repair that may be required.
