Manufacturing Manager

Maintain constant oversight across all build efforts and teams in performance and execution of schedules, budgets and project milestones. Position will maintain and communicate an awareness and understanding of resourcing needs in both Controls and Mechanical departments. Position will communicate daily with Director of Manufacturing on team and project status.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must provide motivating and supportive guidance to production staff through productivity goals
• Strong resource planning and allocation skills will be used to manage highly skilled staff in two main disciplines: 

-Controls Build (CB) 

-Mechanical Assembly (MA)

• Position will be responsible to ensure compliance is met using project tracker updates/budgets/schedules received from Project Management with attention to the following:

-Audit of all active projects to ensure best practices are being followed and ISO Standards are being met

-Ensure projects are on schedule and on budget

• Position will be responsible for budget awareness and performance across all projects
• Position will be responsible for any performance counseling as well as disciplinary actions as needed 
• Position will be responsible to generate weekly production resource schedule to ensure adequate staffing for both CB and MA teams.
• Candidate will be responsible to conduct Weekly/Monthly Manufacturing Meetings with CB and MA teams to provide the following information pertaining to the manufacturing floor:

-Effective and timely employee announcements 

-Current work status for all Work In Progress (WIP)

-Budget health and awareness

-Schedule updates and action plans

-Round table discussion

• Must communicate regularly with Director of Manufacturing to provide information on issues or problems impacting manufacturing/schedules/budgets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills)

• Minimum of 3-5 years management experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility utilizing Automation Technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Proven track record in training employees (Technical, Budget, Schedule)
• Ability to coach and motivate employees
